On February 8th 2002, China Oceanwide Holdings Group together with four other famous Chinese companies invested to establish Wuhan CBD Investment & Development Co Ltd, which mainly aimed at developing and building a modern service center in central China—Wuhan CBD, in response to the call of Hubei provincial government and Wuhan municipal government. With a registered capital of RMB2 billion, the company is mainly responsible for the investment, development, construction and operation of Wuhan CBD.
Ever since its foundation, the company has adhered to the unification of social and enterprise benefits as well as governmental and enterprise goals. Following the guidelines put forward by Wuhan municipal party committee and government—“High Starting Line, High Standard, High Quality, High Efficiency” together with “International Commonness, Wuhan Features”, the company has inherited the operation motto of “Professional, Honest, Loyal, Contributive, Exploring, Creative, Inspiring and Striving”. With the strong support from the society, the company has finished the removal and reconstruction of the old Hankou airport. Meanwhile, it has also successfully and deeply participated in the project planning, strategic plotting and investment introduction, etc.
Beijing Oceanwide Xinhua Property Co Ltd was founded in August 2003 with a registered fund of USD20 million. It is currently engaged in the project of Oceanwide International Residential District in Beijing.
